Dave Gahan, lead singer for Depeche mode, in a scene from the music video for Precious. I just love the black background in the few close-up scenes, especially with the text in place of actual special effects.

I guess this song was written when Martin Gore (bandmate, songrwriter) was going through a divorce, about his children, so though the song is a bit on the quiet/mellow side as far as DM's music goes, it's very heartfelt.

I take my own meaning from the song, but there ya go! Yay for my first serious-ish piece in a very long time. I made him a little skinny, but I think it's a good first try at a real person! (In a long time.)
